This Privacy Policy explains how Aquion handles information when you use the app.

Aquion stores hydration-related data on your device, such as:

• Water intake logs (amount, type, timestamp)
• Reminder settings (times, interval, sound, mode)
• App preferences (theme, language, units, cup sizes, goals)

2. Where Data Is Stored

• Data is primarily stored locally on your device.
• Aquion does not require account registration for core app usage.

3. How We Use Data

Stored data is used only to provide app features, including:

• Hydration tracking and history
• Charts/reports and progress visualization
• Drink reminders and scheduling behavior

4. Data Sharing

• We do not sell your personal data.
• We do not share your hydration logs with third parties by default.

5. Permissions Used

Aquion may request Android permissions required for reminders:

• POST_NOTIFICATIONS - to show reminder notifications.
• RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED - to restore reminders after device reboot.
• REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS - optional, to improve reminder reliability on some devices.

6. Your Controls

• You can export hydration logs as CSV from Settings.
• You can reset/delete tracking data from Settings.
• You can change or disable reminders at any time.

7. Children

Aquion is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last updated" date above.
